Bike Helmet Earmuff Instructions

  1. Place the earmuff against the side straps of the helmet, with the smooth nylong towards the outside and the soft material on the inside. The strap buckle should be close to the bottom edge.

2. Pull up the elastic loop and insert your chin strap buckle.

3. Adjust the placement before attaching with velcro. The top of the earmuffs should be close to the bottom edge of the helmet, and the front top corner of the earmuffs should be even with the front strap of the helmet. Adjust for comfort and your own helmet size.

4. Look for spots to attach the velco. Most helmets have the loop part of velco already attached so you can put in custom padding and straps - you can also attach the earmuffs to (on on the underside of) existing padding.

4a. If needed, you can add your own velco spot to the helmet. Make sure the intended area is cleaned off, separate the tape back from the additional velco piece, and then press it firmly onto the space on the inside of the helmet.

5. Done! The final position will depend on your helmet size and shape, but should resemble the setup below. The velcro should go under all of the buckles and straps inside of the helmet to keep the earmuffs close to your skin.
